The Boerke Company continues to see their office expand with expert talent, as three additional brokers join the firm. Rand Wolf, a former Senior Vice President at CB Richard Ellis, will be adding over 30 years of market knowledge to the firm’s Industrial Team, while Kristian Sydow and Nathan Powers, both former team members at Apex Commercial (now Jones Lang LaSalle), bring their combined 15 years of commercial real estate and development experience to the company’s Retail Team. The BizTimes interviewed Partner Terry McMahon about the new additions. “They are all seasoned brokers,” said McMahon. "The company is on the move. (Cushman & Wakefield) is now the third largest real estate firm in the world.”

The Boerke Company is proud to announce that Jim Babiasz and Patrick Dedering have received the 2011 CARW CRE Deal of the Year Award. The CARW 2011 CRE Awards "recognize the most notable individuals & transactions in WI commercial real estate". Nominees from across the state competed for the Deal of the Year award in their respective market segments. Click here to view CARW's press release for the event.
Babiasz and Dedering received the award in the Industrial category for their blockbuster transaction involving a 323,000-square-foot building, at 12501 Globe Drive in Mount Pleasant, to house Seda International Packaging Group's first location in the United States. Seda produces packaging for food items and is based out of Naples, Italy. Seda is expected to invest over $75 million into the building and create nearly 190 jobs for the area.
The Business Journal recently asked The Boerke Company's Terry McMahon a few questions about where the Commercial Real Estate industry is headed going into 2012. Though Terry's focus is typically on the industrial market, he does currently represent clients and properties across all commercial real esate segments, and because of this, he has a unique view of all industry segments.
