(Mequon, WI)—New start up company, Major Pharmaceuticals, has closed on their purchase of a 25,000 square-foot building at 12250 N Corporate Parkway in Mequon, and will move forward with plans to add about 50 workers to their new facility in the near future.

The company will develop and produce lower demand injectable serums, and is founded by former Cambridge Major CEO Michael Major. Originally the new company had plans for a build-to-suit in the Mequon area this past spring, but withdrew those plans, and began a search for an existing building that would fit their needs. “One of the big reasons we knew this building on Corporate Parkway would work, is because the building would accommodate the current needs that Major has, and then also has room for building expansion as the company continues to grow”, said The Boerke Company’s Bob Babiasz, who represented Major in this industrial commercial real estate transaction.

The building was marketed for sale by NAI MLG Commercial for $1,775,000.  The building was built in 1999 and has great visibility with I-43 frontage. You can read more on this transaction at the Milwaukee Business Journal by clicking here.
