(Pewaukee, WI) — CFR Engines Inc. has purchased a 22,854 square foot building at N8 W22577 Johnson Drive in Pewaukee. The new location in the Bluemound Industrial Park will house the Waukesha CFR product line, which was spun off from GE Energy’s Distributed Power unit in the summer of 2014, which is what created the need for new space.

With GE Energy’s decision to spin off the CFR line back to where it began, as an independent Waukesha company, there was a small window to find the right building. “When CFR Engines gave us this assignment, time was truly of the essence,” said Patrick Dedering of The Boerke Company, who knew how important it was for CFR to keep the business and the brand name in the Waukesha area. “With such a tight timeframe to identify a building in the immediate Waukesha area, and get CFR fully operational, we were excited that everything came together the way it did and in the end they were able keep the CFR engine line and jobs in Waukesha County, which was very important to management”.

CFR Engines expects to be fully operational in the building by the second half of 2015, and has announced the creation of at least 27 new full-time positions. Patrick Dedering of Cushman & Wakefield | The Boerke Company represented CFR Engines, the seller was represented by Paul McBride of RFP Commercial.
