(Milwaukee, WI)— A three story mixed-use building, at the corner of W Pittsburgh Avenue and S 1st Street, has sold to an investor. The 6,708 square-foot building has only been actively marketed by The Boerke Company for 3 months before it was put under contract by the qualified buyer, and shows that continued interest exists from investors for buildings in Walker’s Point and the Third Ward area.

“We ended up having a bidding war on the property, and even interest in the property from potential buyers after they were told we had other offers on the table”, said Boerke Company’s Associate Director Kristian Sydow. “Even though the property will need some finishing touches and build-out to fit the buyers plans, we were still able to procure the final offer slightly above the asking price, which is almost unheard of in the current market, but shows what kind of buyer potential is really out there when the building and location is right”.

The transaction was finalized on Friday. LAS Investments, LLC is the buyer, and they have expressed interest in leasing the first floor space for retail, while plans for the two upper floors are still being worked out. Interested parties in the retail lease potential and users with interest in the other two floors are urged to contact the property’s selling broker, Kristian Sydow at The Boerke Company.
