KEY EXPERT INSIGHTS

About 2 ½ years ago, we were shipping less than 1,000 business to consumer shipments per week. Today it’s closer to 15,000 per week. That’s proof right there of the shift in the distribution model, there’s a convenience factor that people have figured out.

– Scott Carpenter, CH Coakley

In the industrial real estate market, COVID-19 effectively shut down the new development pipeline early in 2020, so there most likely will be limited inventory available in 2021. New developers are starting to get back in the game, but those projects won’t deliver until the end of 2021. So, there may be a gap in 2021 in Southeast Wisconsin with very limited opportunity for people to pick up space.

– Jeff Hoffman, Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke

We had a lot of things in the China basket and now we’ve reevaluated and are moving everything. It’s added a lot of complexity to our business, but it’s also been largely beneficial in allowing us to have options that we may not have had previously in terms of meeting the needs of our customers.

– Matt Prange, Milwaukee Tool

Our three robots have enabled us to run 24/7 and continuously monitor production, which has opened up the ability to provide better service because our employees are able to focus on specific, detailed, smaller jobs and the robotics help with the repetitive jobs.
