ACS Plans New Headquarters in Liberty Business Park
(Verona, WI – October 29, 2019) A Middleton based equipment, controls and facility solutions provider plans to move to Liberty Business Park in Verona.
ACS, which engineers, integrates and builds equipment, control systems, and facilities in a wide range of markets is planning a new 48,000-square-foot headquarters on 5.77 acres in the southeast corner of Whalen Road and the future extension of Liberty Drive located in the Liberty Business Park. The company purchased the land on October 29, 2019.
“We sought to find a location for our headquarters that offers long-term growth in an area where we can continue to promote our workplace culture. Liberty Business Park and the City of Verona are a great fit for the criteria we set,” said ACS President, Scott Hoselton. ACS employs nearly 100 people and was awarded as a ‘Top Workplace’ of 2019 by the Wisconsin State Journal.
Groundbreaking for the new facility is set for Friday, November 1, with expected completion in about twelve months. The building was designed by Eppstein Uhen Architects and the General Contractor will be Ideal Builders.
“The new facility can be expanded to nearly 60,000-square feet to accommodate future growth,” said ACS Vice President of Operations, Kurtis Bell. “We are excited to work with our partners on this project and look forward to being in Verona.”
The project will kickoff the next phase of the Liberty Business Park, completing Liberty Drive to Whalen Road and a portion of Ambition St will be completed as well. The transaction was brokered by Terry McMahon, Steve Styza, and Cody Ziegler of Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke who represented ACS, and Katie West from Oakbrook Corporation who represented the seller, Whalen Investments LLC.
