Milwaukee, WI – The Board of Directors of Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke is pleased to announce the appointment of Dawn Peterson as President & Chief Executive Officer, effective November 3rd, 2025. She succeeds Mike Keane, who served as interim CEO, following the departure of Sean Robbins earlier this year.

The appointment of Dawn Peterson as President & CEO reflects the Board’s confidence in her ability to advance Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke’s long-term vision and lead the firm through its next chapter of growth. “We are excited to welcome Dawn as our next President & CEO,” said Mike Keane, Interim CEO and Board Director. “Her track record of driving operational excellence, combined with her collaborative leadership style, positions us well as we continue to expand and elevate our business and fulfill our vision of being Wisconsin’s most successful and trusted commercial real estate company.”
The Board also extends sincere thanks to Mike Keane for volunteering to step in and offer his steady leadership during the transitional period. His efforts ensured continuity and set the stage for a smooth hand-off to the new leader.

About the New CEO – Dawn Peterson
Dawn brings over 20 years of senior-level experience in corporate tax, finance, risk management, human resources and technology oversight. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), she has held leadership roles with Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, Robert W. Baird, and Alverno College, and has led budgeting, forecasting, investment oversight, and financial reporting programs in complex organizations. She holds a Master of Science in Taxation and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
In her most recent role as Director of Finance & Administration for Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke, she managed all facets of finance and operations – demonstrating a strategic mindset and operational discipline the Board views as critical for leading a company in the commercial real-estate space.
Dawn’s appointment marks an important milestone in our firm’s history and reaffirms our commitment to delivering outstanding value to clients, partners, and stakeholders alike.
